A few days ago my son was interviewed. He was asked what would he tell his family if he could tell them anything without a filter. He said the sweetest of things. He said, "I would tell them I love them." Of course, even if we don't want to admit it, our children become our greatest teachers.
So, taking from his example, I just wanted to say with Mother's Day approaching, I love you. You inspire me. I love how I can always count on you to say Good Job... as well as Be Careful!
I love how selflessly you care for all members of your family, and how despite hating flying, you don't give hoping on a plane and going across the country a second thought- when I'm sick.
I love how we both love ice cream, Chinese food, chocolate and a big cuppa tea.
I could write for days all the wonderful ways you brighten my life and I still wouldn't be done.
So, instead, I thought I'd share with the world, this long overdue "podcast". The first of hopefully many. An interview my own Mom on what it takes to be a good parent. Click on the picture to head to the newest addition, long awaited, first of many interviews with parents near and far on this timeless quest.
